ADULT SMALL GROUPS
WIPS (Works in Progress)
All are welcome! Our group currently ranges from 20-60 and we meet in person and via zoom every Tuesday at 6pm. We seek to build a community of believers who support each other in life, prayer, and personal growth in our relationships with God. Our current study which began on January 19, 2021 is based off the Parables from the Back Side vol 2, which is an 8 week study. If you would like to join our group or if you have any additional questions, please contact Lane Cronan at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 615-260-7589.

Meets every Thursday at 10:00am at small group leader Nita Wright's home. From Thursday, February 18-Thursday, March 25, Morning Glories will be studying "Seven Words- Listening to Christ from the Cross" by Susan Robb. "While many of us naturally wish to avoid the reality of the cross, it's from the cross that Jesus speaks and shows his deepest love for us. It's from the cross that Jesus's full humanity draws us closest to him. It's from the cross, as Jesus draws his last breath and speaks his last words, that his deep trust in the Father and His divine glory are revealed. Those who listen to Jesus's last words from the cross will discover what he most wants them (the world) to hear, and they will experience an intimate and divine awe only available to those who are willing to draw near his cross. In "Seven Words", Susan Robb looks at the seven last words of Christ on the cross through a lens that finds life and hope in his final sayings, while exploring each from a biblical and historical perspective. The book brings a hopeful and contemplative take on the cross during the weeks of Lent," shares Nita Wright. To get involved, please contact Nita at email@example.com or by phone at 615-459-9279.
