About

Everyone is welcome at Smyrna First United Methodist Church! As Christ-followers and United Methodists, we are committed to open hearts, open minds, and open doors with a focus on Christ's love and grace to our world as we worship and serve together in a variety of ways.

We have an 8:30 am more casual modern worship service with a praise band as well as an 11 am traditional worship service with a choir, organ, and more traditional liturgy. Both services meet in our sanctuary. We also have a Coffee & Conversation fellowship time in our fellowship hall on Sundays at 9:30 am. Sunday school classes meet at 10 am on Sunday mornings. A nursery is available on the downstairs level of the main building next to the sanctuary. Kids begin worship with their families in the sanctuary and are invited to go to a special children's worship time halfway through services. Children are also always welcome to worship with us in the sanctuary for the whole worship service if families prefer.
